Jammu 27 November 2019 :The department of Urdu, University of Jammu is organizing two day National seminar on the subject “Role of Non-Muslim Poets and writer of J& K in the development of urdu language and literature’ on 16th and 17th of December 2019 . The seminar would be inaugurated by Prof. M.K. Dhar, Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu on 16th of December 2019. Various Urdu scholars of the state are going to present their Research paper on the subject. The Urdu luminaries of the Country like Prof. Khawaja Ekram-ud-din, Prof. Anwar Pasha, Prof. Aftab Ahmed Afaqui, Prof. Moula Baksh, Prof. Shahid Pervaiz, Prof. Ali Javeed and others are attending the seminar as observer. Besides the two day National seminar a All India Urdu Mushira is also being organized on 16th of December 2019 at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium. Various towering urdu poets of the country are accepted to participate in the all india Mushira,. They include Kushbeer Singh Shaad, Rubina Shabnum, Sunita Raiana, Shafq Soopuri and others.
